Coloro colour system now available in TEX-DESIGN™

Coloro with its new colour system is currently on its way to conquering the fashion industry. The company has developed a material-independent universal colour system with 1.6 million visual colour codes and a standard colour collection of 3,500 colours. The colours are uniquely defined and can be universally exchanged digitally and physically by all partners involved in collection development and production.

Working with colours is a key element in fashion and textile design and plays a central role in the TEX-DESIGN™ software, which supports colouring and the use of colours comfortably and efficiently. Therefore, we are pleased to offer our users a further improvement for the fast-paced daily design routine.

From now on, TEX-DESIGN™ users can access the colour palette of the Coloro colour system and additionally use and communicate the complete Coloro colour chart directly for colouring – from the first idea, textile design and style sketches to the finished article overview.

We look forward to further optimise the processes for our mutual customers with this cooperation between Coloro and Koppermann. For further questions about this cooperation, please write to us at support@koppermann.com or call us at 0049 8178-97-10.

About Coloro:

Coloro stands for both the correspondent named color system with 1.6 million color codes and the products, services and digital solutions under the umbrella of this new universal color system. The company was formed as a joint venture between the China Textile Industry Association, CTIC, and the UK-based Ascential Group, which includes WGSN, the world leader in trends, the Cannes Lions Festival, and numerous digital analytics and information services. Coloro went to market in 2017 after a worldwide WGSN research of global brands’ worfklows and needs for selecting and managing color in product development and production revealed an urgent need for a unified system as a common international color standard, which did not exist until now. Based on its color system, Coloro has developed an ecosystem for color that acts as an open global platform, integrating color manufacturers and developers to design applications and PLM systems during all steps of the value chain.
